Easter 2016

We had a nice, mellow Easter Sunday this year. We celebrated with just our nuclear family and had our hunt in the backyard with perfect, toasty warm weather. Ahh, so nice.

My favorite moment of the day was when Ben bit into a chocolate bunny, made a face, then said incredulously, "Mom! This bunny is HOLLOW?!" I reassured him that it was normal, but that got me thinking- why do we accept hollow chocolate bunnies as something to be expected? No wonder he felt cheated. Still, it was a funny moment.

This is a Test

So I've decided to start blogging again.

Yep, for real this time.

Rather than try to cover everything that's happened in the last few years, I'm just going to jump on in assuming you know enough to follow along. But let me introduce these two cuties: Christian (2) and Duncan (3 months), my Texas boys.
Love those two.

Ben and Sophie are in second grade and kindergarten. Both of them really love school and reading, which I love. They've also started karate lessons once a week and are working on cars for the Pinewood Derby.

Oh, and as I'm typing this, Christian is eating jam out of the almost-empty jam jar that he stole from the kitchen counter. And giggling.

Just to give you an idea of how most of my days go.
